CHEMISTRY FORMATTER

Paste your text in, and it will automatically subscript/superscript any chemical elements present in the text. For example,

CO2 becomes CO2 and OH- becomes OH-
HCl -> H+ + Cl- becomes HCl → H+ + Cl-
HNO2 <-> H+ + NO2- becomes HNO2 ⇌ H+ + NO2-

You can also manually specify exponents with a caret, ie

H^- becomes H- and O^2- becomes O2-

This will probably break on any lists or titles you have, so you might need to do some manual formatting after. Still, less work than manually sub/superscripting.

Will there be a copy button?
I don't think it's possible to automatically copy styles in javascript (Yet).
